The ambience was generally likeable, good atmoshphere Italian poolside hotel in a beach town. Staff was helpful, which we needed as we wanted to have an upgrade, which we have been given for a fair price. Breakfast was good quality, not limited to the typical Italian pastries, but there have always been quality fruit, and smoked salmon, which is a bonus.

Location was perfect. A few minutes walk to the train/bus station and also to town square. A little shop nearby for drinks etc as well as bars and restaurants. Hotel gave us a free upgrade which was amazing. Room was a lovely size and bathroom was huge with a double sink and an amazing rainfall walk in shower.

The hotel is nice, clean, great location The issue was we booked the room as in pictures in booking with balcony, once we arrived they told us that we booked smaller room without balcony but they offered an upgrade with 30$ per day. However, after a long conversation they accepted to get us in the room without paying 30$ as a gesture !! Another issue is the toilet had a bad smell Otherwise, I would recommend staying there as it’s very nice room, good space, nice location, a little bit pricey

location was excellent right next to the main square, restaurants, streets and harbour. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Rooms were cleaned every day.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would gladly return. The location is perfect – just a short walk from the city centre, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-maintained. You can tell that cleanliness is a top priority here – everything felt fresh and inviting. What truly made the experience special, however, was the staff. A big thank you to Maria " breakfast," Bianca " front desk," Peppe, and Nicola, who were all exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and professional. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and centrally located place to stay!

Grand entrance, Really Modern rooms, clean and great aircon! Spacious. Loved the pool, big- drinks bar!! Ordered food by pool. Breakfast was amazing and the staff made it even better. Reception staff were lovely and helpful. Location is very close to some great restaurants. About a 10 minute walk into the heart/shopping. But as we had a car, this is probably the closest we could get, as the heart is pedestrian zone. There’s a bus that goes down to marina where you can swim or catch ferries to other places.

The pool was spectacular and a full sized one so you can have a great swim. The food in the pool bar is also exceptional and huge portions. Maybe a little steep on price but the portions make it worthwhile. Staff are very nice and accommodating also. View from our balcony was beautiful.

Grand Hotel Flora was a great moderate priced hotel for our 5 night stay. We were given a newly remodeled "classic" room. It was spacious with an oversized shower, double sinks, comfortable large bed and all the linens was fluffy & fresh. Water was hot with excellent pressure. The 5th floor does not have a balcony but the sliding door opens. Sadly I overlooked where it states all the "classic" rooms face the street. The noise is awful from sunrise until late late into the night. We had poor sleep the whole trip. My sister and BIL faced the pool with seaviews and their room was much quieter. Also on the 5th floor so brandnew remodel. It was larger. However not double sinks just as a fyi. The entire staff is fantastic! The breakfast buffet is expansive and offered an array of options: eggs, meats, cheeses, potatoes, mushrooms, fruits, cereals, and pastries. The walk is 10 minutes to main square with many restaurants and shops along the way. It's flat and easy. We would stay here again just not facing the street.
